Coming

Windows is on the way

First Windows builds (VST3, x64) are in testing with an external tester.

No date yet. It will be announced here and on KVR when the installers are signed.

DAMP — September

A new plugin: finds the frequency that rings on every take and pulls it down, only while it rings.

Coming in September. Exact date to be confirmed.

DAMP on hi-hats

DAMP is out

Every room has one. A guitar body that booms on the same note, a snare with a ring that never quite dies, a vocal that spikes on the loudest word. Static EQ takes it out everywhere, including the takes where it was never a problem.

DAMP listens while the track plays and only moves when the resonance actually shows up. When it stops ringing, the EQ is back to flat. What you recorded stays what you recorded.

Set DE-HARSH and let it work, or open ADVANCED for attack, release, detection and stereo linking. DELTA lets you hear exactly what it's removing. Works on a single track, a bus, or the whole mix.

1.0.3 for the whole catalog

1.0.3 is out for the whole catalog.

Your presets and window size now come back the way you left them, in every plugin. PUMP and REPEAT's toggles read the way they actually behave. MORPHY corner fix. FILTER: SYNC removed for now — true LFO sync arrives in 1.1. The new installer removes older copies, so your DAW stops seeing two versions of the same plugin.

Free update for existing owners. Re-download from the link in your order email.

1.0.2 for the catalog — macOS 10.13.4 and later

Version 1.0.2 is out for the ten plugins with a web-based interface.

The interface now loads on macOS 10.13.4 and later. In 1.0.0 it could open and not respond on older systems.

GROWL and SPACE were not affected and stay at 1.0.0. Free update for existing owners — re-download from your Lemon Squeezy order page.

Terms and legal pages updated

Privacy policy, terms of service, EULA and third-party licenses are now published on padworks.io.

The EULA states what you get: a perpetual license, three machine activations, no online activation in current versions.

Pad Works 1.0 is on KVR

The whole catalog is listed on KVR Audio: twelve plugins and four bundles for macOS (VST3 / AU, universal binary, notarized).

The store went live on August 21. Every purchase is a perpetual license with three machine activations.

Free plugin: PUNCH, a one-knob drum bus, direct download with no email required.

When one track needs the whole treatment: level, EQ, compression, color.

BALANZE Canal and Master 1.0.1

Version 1.0.1 is out for BALANZE Canal and BALANZE Master.

Loudness metering now matches ITU-R BS.1770-4 exactly: readings move up by about 0.25 LU and agree with third-party meters. Master: Match EQ no longer dips when its curve changes.

Free update for existing owners — re-download from your Lemon Squeezy order page.

When the bass has to be the loudest thing in the room.

GROWL is out

GROWL, a bass fuzz with an envelope filter, is available now.

Fuzz that stays tight instead of turning to mush, with a filter that opens when you play harder. Four-band EQ deck and a sub-octave engine on one knob.

$29 · VST3 / AU · macOS 10.13.4+ · also in the LIQUID bundle.

When the vocal is right but the pitch — or the voice — isn't.

MORPHY is out

MORPHY, a pitch and formant shifter, is available now.

Pitch and formant move independently, in semitones or snapped to a key and scale. MIDI mode plays the shift from a keyboard.

$39 · VST3 / AU · macOS 10.13.4+ · also in the LIQUID bundle.
